About Dr. Ramy
Dr. Ramy Khalil is an American-trained and U.S. Board-certified consultant internal medicine physician with 10+ years of experience in both outpatient and inpatient care settings.
Dr. Ramy obtained his undergraduate degree in chemical biomolecular engineering at the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA, USA) and his medical degree at the George Washington University (Washington, DC, USA). He attended Boston University (Boston, MA, USA) to complete partial training in diagnostic radiology before transitioning to complete postgraduate residency training in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (Pittsburgh, PA, USA).
Dr. Ramy received his Board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2017 and remains up to date on the latest in data-driven primary and preventive care strategies and guidelines. As an internist, he is comfortable treating a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions in adults of all ages. He also recommends yearly routine physical examinations to all his adult patients to maintain their health and wellness. Prior to relocating to Dubai, Dr Khalil maintained a full outpatient practice of adults at St. Clair Health, a community hospital system in Pittsburgh.
Dr. Ramy also has 6+ years of experience in clinical informatics and healthcare IT. Throughout his medical career, he has led several organizational healthcare IT initiatives and has consulted for large entities in the private health sector, including 3M Healthcare. His area of expertise is electronic health record (EHR) implementation, optimization and interoperability. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Clinical Informatics for PeopleOne Health, a U.S. national direct primary care DPC organization. He is certified by the American Medical Informatics Association, and he is pursuing Board certification in Clinical Informatics in 2024.
